Let The Tree Grow
Well, this is another one that is sufficiently personal that it is difficult to describe. The title is not really intended to be an environmentalist statement. Rather the tree is more symbolic
(i.e. the tree of life).
It certainly eludes to how life has changed here in the 'Silicon Valley' and, of course, many other valleys in this country and elsewhere.

Let the Tree Grow
Was a time in this valley
When the dreams they did grow
Now is seems we're all so crazy
Time for dreams again
Let the tree grow
Let the tree growCan you tell me which train I need to ride
To carry my soul back home
Can you tell me which laws I must abide
On this journey as I roamI can see by the light of the moon shinin' down
Hear by the sound of the sea
Reflections of my life in all those peoples' eyes
To think I was just seein' me
Take the lines to the wagon
Take the light from your soul
There I go I'm talkin' crazy
There I go again
Let the tree grow
Let the tree grow
