River Time

This one is a bit of a mystery to me.

They say the river symbolizes the subconscious . This song poem eludes, at least in part, to the process of listening to your subconscious. I personally find this quite useful particularly in difficult times.

I think of the subconscious as something deeper than words or symbols, but rather a place where you can learn about yourself on something of a 'visceral' level...difficult to put in words.

In line 10, I suppose either 'steal your pride' or 'steel your pride' would work. You are indeed welcome to hear it any way you wish.

There to find
All the things you ever tried to be
