Some Folks
For you musicologists, this song is 'classic Herb Moore' in that it lingers on the tonic chord for one extra beat at the end of the first line of each stanza.
Needless to say that little bit of arcana has very little to do with enjoying the song.
For that matter, such analysis is not particularly important when playing the song either, as long as you can 'fee' the phrasing.
I'm reminded of the time I heard one musician trying to explain some unusual count for some song and the other musician saying "don't tell me, it'll just confuse me".

Some Folks
Some folks they live the lie that's pleasin'
Some folks, well they just don't walk that road
Some folks don't need no rhyme or reason
Some folks just live and let it go
Sometimes I feel some different motion
Just like a ship out on the sea
Sometimes I take some different notion
This life it's all inside of me
Now you might not hear just what I'm saying
You might hear just what you want to see
But that don't mind this song I'll just keep playin'
Hear it any way you want to be
